Post-Tension Sport Court Slabs

Post-Tension Sport Courts have been utilized for over 30 years within the Tennis Court Construction Industry. PT Sport Courts provide a superior play surface by reducing the shrinkage cracks that may occur with the concrete slabs, and eliminating most service issues for the court surface. The compressive force of the Post-Tension materials, keeps any cracks that may form, compressed and closed tight. Basketball Courts, and with the recent popularity of Pickle Ball Courts, though smaller, also benefit greatly from the use of Post-Tensioning within the court slab. PT Sport Courts are beneficial on both good and challenging soil conditions. Our PT sport court designs have been utilized on Residential courts, Public Parks, Homeowner Association Recreation Center Courts, and Schools, both public and private for the competition courts. Please call on one of our design specialist for review of your sport court and site conditions. We work with most all of the Southern and Northern California Sport Court Contractors for their design/build construction.

Post-Tension Cable Repairs

Post-Tension Foundation slabs can be efficiently repaired and retro-fitted. While most of our calls are after someone has already broken a PT cable, we can help eliminate major damage to the slab and tendons with locating tendons and a review of the repair conditions, prior to cutting into the PT slab. We have partnered with our licensed C-50 reinforcing contractor, Hoff Reinforcing Steel Installation, for the repair and retro-fitting of Post-Tension Cables within existing slab foundations. With the current rise in home remodeling, we can review your remodel design, and evaluate the existing PT foundation for loading conditions, and create the most efficient and cost-effective way to cut and chip into your PT foundation for new plumbing, new column loads, new seismic retro-fitting, and new slab additions. Let us help you and your design/construction team avoid heartache and additional construction damage to your post-tension slab foundation. A simple review, locating, and sequencing plan for your remodel can help you save thousands in untold or unknown construction mistakes, by cutting and breaking the PT Cables. Our design professionals will assist you with broken or damaged tendons, as well as your new additions.
